Personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential to protect healthcare workers (HCWs) from highly infectious diseases such as COVID-19. However, due to unprecedented global demand, hospitals are in constant danger of running out of safe, effective PPE, including the personal protective clothing needed to treat COVID-19 patients.
